Northern Light Inland Hospital Northern Light Inland Hospital is a nonprofit, community-led, 48-bed hospital that has served Waterville and the surrounding communities since 1943. We’re a healthcare provider and major employer. Our staff and providers volunteer their time to make our communities better places to live. Our purpose is to provide personalized, straightforward care that works for our patients, donors, employees, and healthcare providers. Northern Light Inland Hospital is governed by a 15-member volunteer board of trustees.

Areas of excellence Cardiovascular care services, including diagnostics, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Emergency department staffed by physicians 24/7. Inpatient care, including the Birthing Center, Acute Care, and Intensive Care. Imaging services, including CT scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), 3D mammography, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. Primary care at Northern Light Health Centers in Waterville, Unity, Madison, and Oakland. Walk-In care services in Waterville. Specialty services, including neurology, orthopedics, osteopathic care, podiatry, rehabilitation, rheumatology, surgery, endocrinology and diabetes care, gastroenterology, urology, and wound care. Women’s health services, including obstetrics and gynecology, birthing center, and imaging services.
