Originally donated by Mrs. F.B. Richards in 1922 and incorporated in 1924, Northern Light Blue Hill Hospital is a nonprofit, community-led, critical access hospital that serves Hancock County. We’re a healthcare provider, major employer, and community health partner. Areas of excellence • Our Emergency Department is staffed by physicians 24/7. • Imaging services include a state-of-the-art CT scanner, mobile MRI, ultrasound, 3D digital mammography,

• Dexa scanning (bone density testing), and routine x-rays. • Rehabilitation services (physical therapy and occupational therapy) are offered in Blue Hill and Bucksport. • Specialty services include wound care, infusion services, laboratory services, and osteoporosis care. • Primary care is provided in Blue Hill and Stonington.
