NORTHERN L IGHT HEALTH FOUNDAT ION “We’ve heard countless heartwarming stories of why people wanted to make cloth face masks and head bands. We’ve seen the smiles on staff faces when these items are delivered. We’ve worked with donors to secure funding for food to make sure that our teams working at COVID-19 test sites, under unique conditions, had nourishment while working outdoors during a cold Maine spring. And, we’ve answered countless phone calls from people just to purchase a meal, two, or three for caregivers at all our Northern Light Health hospitals – each caller had a personal reason for wanting to give back. In return, every person who chose to share their contact information with us has received a handwritten thank you note. Some also received pictures from the departments who received their generous donations with their thank you note. Mainers care, and we’ll always have each other’s backs — today, and in the better days ahead.”
